I love this. I am amazed with the mixed medium used for this. I want to try that combination. Once again, great job!

Thanks very much, Jodie. I've been usiing this mixed medium for quite some time now and am pleased with the results. I tend to water the gesso down first, as a wash for the first coat, then thick strokes for highlights, then work back into the drawing with wateercolour and sometimes indian ink. The first gesso wash reacts wildly with the charcoal and carbon creating some interesting effects. Enjoy!
